Creative unBootcamp

A LIVE, VIRTUAL WORKSHOP SERIES
– WITH JACOB NORDBY –

Reclaim Balance & Clarity

If you're finding it increasingly difficult to keep your head above water or feeling like your creative spark has been dulled by everything that's going on right now, you’re not alone. This is for you.

Widespread uncertainty, burnout, and information overload leave many of us feeling confused and disempowered at present.

This course offers a unique blend of trauma-informed and research-backed practices to help you create safety, clarity, and practical steps forward.

In the face of stress or uncertainty, what we need isn’t pressure, but grounded compassion and small, steady steps forward.

That’s why Creative unBootcamp unfolds through gentle curiosity, informed by depth psychology, polyvagal insight, and supportive neuroscience.

Unlike programs that demand you "do more" or "push harder," this experience invites you to gently rediscover your inner rhythms and reconnect with confidence and clarity.

What’s Different About This Experience
What You’ll Gently Cultivate
  • Self-Discovery: Delve deep into your authentic self and unearth the creativity that resides within.
  • Trauma-Informed Practices: Learn strategies that respect and work with your past experiences, empowering you to move forward.
  • Research-Backed Tools: Engage with methods proven to foster well-being and personal growth.
  • Creative Exploration: Tap into your natural creativity as a pathway to healing and transformation.
  • Effective Living: Gain practical tools to apply your newfound insights to everyday life, enhancing your sense of purpose and fulfillment.
The Three Enemies of Creativity
This workshop series will help you understand and address these limiting factors in your life.

Socialization

Socialization can be both a positive and a negative force. By the time we reach adulthood, our beliefs, behaviors, tastes, and personal goals often align with socialized norms and no longer feel like extensions of our true creative selves.

Traumatic Experiences

If we experience trauma, especially in our formative years, it can lead to patterns of:

  • Anxiety
  • Destructive self-talk
  • Inner criticism and Self-doubt
  • Procrastination
  • Perfectionism
  • Addictive behaviors
  • Feelings of being not valuable or lacking a purpose
  • And more

Rejection

Fear of rejection sits at the intersection of socialization and trauma. Like it or not, violating the written or unwritten rules of our families, religion, or society at large can lead to rejection of all kinds, which is a traumatic experience in its own right.

During this course, we will use self-discovery assessments, such as the Positive Intelligence "What Are Your Saboteurs?" process to identify and break the grip of default-mode narratives that keep you locked in disempowering patterns.

Hear from Others

Jacob is more than a guide for creatives—he’s an extraordinary person. When I needed guidance for my projects, he was the first to come to mind. Jacob generously shared his time, professionalism, and expertise, offering invaluable advice to help me refine my focus. Our 1:1 session felt like talking to a trusted friend, with his intentionality and care shining through. I walked away empowered, equipped with actionable steps, a clear deadline, and deep gratitude. His support was truly priceless!

I went to Jacob when I had the seed of an idea.  An idea that I knew had potential.  An idea that I wanted to pursue.  An idea I had no idea where to start.  I sat down with him over a strong cup of coffee and laid it on him.   Like in the movies, he immediately pulled out a napkin, and started taking notes, and drawing pictures, and sketching hieroglyphics. After he was done, he had the bones of a well-thought-out business plan that was creative and actionable.

Over the next few months I would talk to Jacob about thoughts, fears and questions I had about this journey.  He was always calm and supportive. Gently guiding me towards the safer path and away from paths that were higher risk or unreasonable.

I still have that napkin.

I also have a 6-figure business!

Jacob is who you want in your corner and on your shoulder as you are embarking on something that is important to you but you do not have the map.  Jacob has the map.

Meeting Jacob felt like a dream I didn’t even know I was wishing for. I always believed there was something special in my writing, but Jacob didn’t just see it—he brought it to life.

He created a space where I felt safe to share, to grow, and to embrace the writer I am meant to be. He didn’t just tell me I was a great writer; he made me believe in a future filled with possibilities I hadn’t dared to consider.

Jacob is truly one of a kind, and anyone lucky enough to work with him should be ready for magic. He has a way of making dreams not just feel possible—but inevitable. He’s that special.

I reached out to Jacob in a time that I was in, what I call, a creative crisis. Attempting to put a book of poetry together for the past 10 years and getting nowhere! Jacob truly helped me wrangle it all in by seeing myself for who I truly was becoming and in a way I never thought capable. Since then, writing has become a deep practice for me.

I’ve always thought of myself as a creative person, pursuing many hobbies and crafts over the years, but I was struggling to give myself permission to make space in my life for the creative urge in a focused way, and a way that supported my healing journey.

In 2022 I met Jacob Nordby and this platform and I knew it was time for me to invest in myself.

In the first year of membership, I had completed the rough draft of my first book. In the second year of membership, I realized I had the loving, supportive, community I had always wanted.

Today I am grounded in my practice, moving forward with my creative work and my personal healing journey. And, most importantly, I am rejoicing in the lifelong friendships I have made, knowing that we are walking side-by-side on the creative path.

I am so grateful to be here!
